Background
An interest in aerospace engineering can lead individuals toward an exciting career with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). NASA engineers work together to create safe space crafts that transport people and supplies into orbit, as well as to other planets. Working outside of Earth’s atmosphere poses many unique challenges, and engineers must use strong analytical skills as well as creativity to determine the most effective design for each space craft.
Challenge
Your task is to take on the role of an aerospace engineer with NASA charged with developing a new space craft. One of NASA’s current projects involves the exploration of Mars. Not only must engineers design a shuttle that can get to the Red Planet, but they must design a landing craft capable of touching down safely, too! You are tasked, in groups, to design a landing craft that is capable of landing upright on the surface of Mars!

* Create a Paper Slide video about your landing craft to be able to share your learnings with other aerospace engineers.
* Share your landing craft and your design decisions with your class.
* Have your teacher tweet an image of your landing craft and results to #DESTEM. Browse and comment on other designs tagged with #DESTEM.
#5Challenge
Your task is to take on the role of a business analyst with EA Sports: Madden NFL. The company sold over 3.27 million copies of the 2016 PS4 version of the game alone, however, they are always looking to expand their market. Your task is to analyze trends in sales history for all sports video games, viewership of sports, and current/history of EA Sports games. Using all this data, you will need to make a recommendation to EA Sports leadership on the next game for expansion (with supporting evidence).

Finalize your “Game Expansion” visual presentation. Make sure your presentation includes visual representations of the data you collected.
* Use the Upload function to submit your challenge. (If you are sharing a link you will need to use the “create” function)
* Have your teacher tweet a picture of your show presentation along with a short explanation of your group’s thinking to #DESTEM.

3) Instruction:
Read your assigned article and prepare a PowerPoint© presentation. Your presentation should not be a summary of the article. Instead, it should follow a modified SBAR format (explained in detail below) to present your patient case and be focused on the QOL issues associated with the disease state. You should be using other literature to state the rationale for why those issues are present (i.e. pathophysiology of the disease, medication side effects, etc.) and how those issues impact the patient’s QOL. You will then integrate your faith in creating a brief care plan to address the QOL issues. Make sure you cite any and all references using AMA format. SBAR format for presentation: S (Situation): Give the patient case. B (Background): Give an overview of the disease state. A (Assessment): Explain how and why the disease impacts the quality of life. Use other literature to explain this. R (Recommendation): Explain how a Christian healthcare provider should provide care to this patient, sharing your Biblical worldview and how you can impact the quality of life in patients with this disease. Please refer to the sample presentation if you have questions on the layout. QOL in Late-Onset Bipolar Disorder (Example PPT)

When you arrive at the scene of a crime, you must follow certain procedures to ensure the admissibility of evidence. For this assignment, you will use a case file of a real crime scene and assume the role of the crime scene investigator. You will create a presentation in which you document your process, present your findings, and provide an evaluation of the scene in a narrated PowerPoint or presentation tool of your choice.
Choose one of the following cases from your textbook resource:
“He Hit Her Until She Fell… and That Was Just the Beginning,” Brandl, pp. 363–373.
“A Mutilation Murder,” Brandl, p. 670.
Then, create a 5–10 minute presentation in which you:
Identify the tools you used to evaluate the crime scene. Provide a rationale for your choices.
Outline the steps you took to secure the crime scene.
Describe the techniques and procedures you used to process the crime scene, including a list of the evidence collected. Explain the reasons for your procedures.
Describe the steps you took to preserve the evidence and provide an explanation for your process.
Provide photos of the crime scene.
Create a crime scene map that illustrates the crime scene upon arrival.
Narrate your presentation to walk the audience through the crime scene.
Use at least two quality sources and cite them on a references slide.

Assignment Content
CompetencyAssess the use of technology within healthcare.
Assess the systems development life cycle.
Take part in clinical informatics in the delivery of healthcare.
Evaluate standards for health information exchange.
Evaluate policies and strategies for use with healthcare technology.
Assess data management software, technology, and tools.
Student Success CriteriaView the grading rubric for this deliverable by selecting the “This item is graded with a rubric” link, which is located in the Details & Information pane.
ScenarioMcIntosh Family Clinic is a small physician’s clinic that schedules between 5,000 to 6,000 patients a year. McIntosh Family Clinic provides services to men, women, and children. Their medical services include physical exams, sports physicals, blood tests and EKGs, worker’s compensation, management of acute and chronic diseases, and minor surgeries. The clinic employs three physicians certified in family medicine, five nurses, three lab technicians, two office clerks with Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certifications, and one medical office administrator with a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification.
McIntosh Family Clinic had decided to implement a computer-assisted coding (CAC) system to assist their office administrator and clerks in effectively assigning medical codes. With the implementation of the medical coding system, the clinic hopes to increase productivity and prevent denials due to medical coding and documentation issues. McIntosh Family Clinic has an established electronic health record (EHR) system in place. The computer-assisted coding system would need to integrate with the current EHR.
The medical office administrator has been tasked with overseeing the implementation of the new computer-assisted coding system and has contacted your company, CAC Systems Incorporated, for a demonstration of the company’s CAC system. As a consultant for CAC Systems Incorporated, you are asked to prepare and present a presentation of the CAC system for McIntosh Family Clinic. All of the clinic’s employees will be in attendance for the presentation.
InstructionsDevelop a PowerPoint presentation for the clinic’s employees, discussing the details of the CAC coding system. Include the following in the presentation:
Requirement needs for installing the CAC system.
CAC system storage capacity.
How the system helps ensure data integrity.
How the use, storage, and revision of data is managed within the system.
Managing coding alerts and reminders in the system.
How CAC Systems Incorporated will ensure interoperability between the CAC system and the existing EHR system.
The systems development life cycle and the tasks that would be included in each phase of the life cycle for the implementation of the CAC system.
The PowerPoint slides should only contain general information as a visual for the audience. Be sure to include details for the information on each slide within the slide’s note pane.
